So i got around to giving this old tractor first aid, running well, repaired the steering, nice. Got all of the sludge out of the engine, if that was oil then I don't want that. 3 pt hydraulics are now working, they do leak down after a bit though. I'll work on that. Wiring is fubar....I guess I'll do it all. My gripe is the seat, set back as far as it can go and, my family jewels are still being crushed...what can I do to correct this ? OH the front PTO is coming off, I doubt I'll ever use it, I only want to use this tractor as a tug for wagons and such.

Your limited on options:
I suggest make your own mounts and add a much better seat, this is what I've done.

I would also suggest if your going to keep the muffler in the upright orientation you put a flapper on the pipe, or a good rain will really ruin your day.

I do keep a tin can on the pipe and keep the old girl covered. I do have an old tractor with adjustable seat mount but, seems not many options to weld on...I'll keep thinking on that. Thanks for your reply. I'll be going back at it...never quit.

If I can get my B7100 dug out of the snow (currently under 4 feet) I'll take a picture of the mount and slide I made for it, it's rather simple but works great.
I really want to get it in the shop and start to see what it's going to take to get her ready for summer duties.

I would really appreciate that, thank you.
