I have a B3200 that won't turn-over. I tried replacing the battery and moving the PTO and HST controls while starting to no avail. Of note, when I turn the key to the first position ("on"), I hear one click and the oil indicator light comes on ( as expected), but the battery light does not come on (unexpected). In the second position, the glow-bar light displays. In the third position, nothing happens - the engine does not attempt to crank.
Anyone advise on what to try next?
Thanks, Eric

Start by cleaning battery cables at both ends or replacing the battery cables.

See if you are getting any voltage on the small wire to the starter solenoid.
If it is not a good 12 volts then that is your problem. Probably some safety switch not working to allow the starter to engage.

You can jump from the battery to the solenoid small wire and see if that gets the engine cranking but you can kill your self doing that also so be careful and have some safety precautions in place ( all drive wheels off ground, someone watching in case tractor starts and runs over you...) or don’t do it if you’re not sure what you are doing. Doing this bypasses all safety mechanisms on the tractor.

Take starter off and have it tested to see if it works properly.

As Russel suggested, clean the battery terminals, but beyond that if you're getting no attempt at starter engagement it may be because one or more safeties is not satisfied. PTO must be idsengaged, you must be in the seat, depress the clutch, shift into neutral, and if you have an HST transmission be sure your foot is not pressing on the treadle.

Make sure the mid and rear PTO handles are in the off position. My shirt has grabbed the mid-PTO lever as I climbed off the tractor and caused me to scratch my head a couple times. Also, the HST pedal has caused an issue before. I cleaned the pivot area good and regreased and that let the pedal return to it's centered position. Hopefully, it's something that simple, although it sounds like you've checked all of this already.

Read through this thread and then try "starter jumping." Do not skip any of the safety steps!!!!

Starter jumpiing

If the tractor turns over now you know the problem is not with battery, cables, or the starter.
