I just purchased a B3200 this spring and winter is quickly coming up. My dealer recommended a 7 foot blade for my 3 point.

I was wondering what everyone else uses? I saw an 8 footer on Craigslist and I wasn't sure if that would be too large?

I don't really want to spend a bunch of money on a blade, as I foresee myself getting a snow blower in a few years.

How wide are your rear wheels??? that's about how wide I would go or just a tad more,, remember that you have to maneuver that thing around and the weight and width make for some tuff turns sometimes, just MHO go with what the dealer tells you ,, that 8 footer is for sale for a reason,, just sayin

I'll have to measure the width, but I called the guy and it is a Cat 2 blade. So not worth messing with.

I need to be a little wider than the width of the tractor, since the blade will be angled to push the snow off to the side easier.

If your just using it for snow,, well maybe you might want to look into a front blade for the old gal, while you can use the rear blade, I have one as well, and it serves many jobs well, if snow is the ticket I would look to a front mounted blade with the quick hitch. It will cost more than the rear blade but be better suited for what I think your doing,,, Plus once you get the quick hitch you wont have to buy one when you get the front mounted snow blower:D This is of course just MHO you understand

Well I need to keep the FEL on the front for the snow drifts. I don't want to have to keep changing it out. Unfortunately the snow blower will be rear mounted.

The neighbor down the road has a habit of buying things and then selling them just a few years later...and he has a brand new Woods snowblower (rear mount) that I've got my eye on

Look at a snow plow to go on your loader itself. Get a quick attach for your bucket if you don't have one. Then change to the snow plow when you need it. With a blade on the loader you can pile the snow up if you need it. There are several companies that sell them. One place to look is EVERYTHINGATTACHEMENTS.COM . They have a lot of stuff for tractors.

You will need a wider blade than the tractors tire width if you still want to cover your tractors footprint. You lose usable width fast with the blade angled.
Everything attachments .com has good videos to watch explaining this.
