Hello,
We just bought a used 2009 B3200 with 175 hrs. Excellent shape, however after the first few uses we have a problem. The gear range level can be moved from lo-mid-high, however it doesn't actually change the speed. It seems to be stuck in lo. The lever still has the detent positions for lo-medium and high, but no detent position for nuetral.

We checked the shear pin on the lever and it is in one piece, so we are thinking it will be something internal. Our local dealer is small and hasn't had any internal problems before. Anyone else have this issue?

There is not much to that system. ;)
If the roll pin is good then your looking at diving in and splitting it. :(

Thanks Wolfman. My dad is a pretty handy mechanic, so we might tear into it ourselves. We don't have a manual yet, but plan to get one. Do the manuals call out any special tools, torque specs, etc. needed to do this properly?

Yes the WSM will point most everything out.
You shouldn't need any special tools to do that job.
It doesn't have any special fasteners or line fittings, and most thinks will be pretty obvious.
I've worked on quite a few Kubota's and have never had one leave me stumped.
