I have had a B2650 for 11 years, and every year until now I have attached the snow plow without trouble. (The plow fits into the male quick hitch, which attaches to the tractor frame). Today, I could not get the holes for mounting pin to line up with the holes in the frame of the tractor. The holes were about 1/4 inch out of alignment, and indicated that the hitch needed to move forward about this amount. Of course, I can't insert the 3/4 inch pin to hold the hitch in place. I worked on this for over an hour and half, probably took the hitch off and re-engaged it with the tractor bumper 20 times, and had the same result. Very odd; these holes have always lined up perfectly in the past. Has anyone else had this problem? This seems ridiculously simple, but my back is not very happy tonight from lifting this thing.

Make sure that the T-screw-tightened locking block is in the correct orientation and loose enough for the male hitch hanger to hook on and mount properly. If it's stuck in the way the alignment will be affected.

And that same male adapter hanger lip that hooks on the tractor frame just below the rad front can get its edge caught on either side sub-frame mounting bolt that it needs to sit between, not on.

Ther than that, there may be something thrown out by the hydraulic lifting cylinder, maybe try running it through its range to a fully powered stop at each end to see if there's any cylinder-caused warping or misalignment?

And of course check that all that male adapter frame's bolts and nuts are there still and properly tight.

Took a look at my blower quickhitch subframe today.
The 4 mounting bolts for the rear attachment point (the tube that the pin engages) are all through slotted mount holes with 2-3" play front to back.
If they're nice and tight on your frame then why it shifted would indeed be a mystery but at least you can loosen and adjust them and get the pin tube back in line.
