B2710 HST 2003 transmission no power to push

Bought a 2003 B2710 with 1100 hrs. Changed hydrolic oil and filter, cleaned suction line strainer refilled to proper oil level. Moves forward/reverse in low range, barely moves mid range, will not move in high range. When trying to push front loader into pile to scoop has no power to push forward to scoop up material. The hydrolics to front loader and backhoe operate fine. Any suggestions appreciated.

You need rev up the engine. The petal selects the gear ratio. You don't run a car up a steep hill in 5th gear at 20 mph. Just push the petal down a little bit so you are in a lower gear ratio.

Tractor should move in any range with engine at idle.

Did you use the correct oil in the HST? Did you use the correct filter?

If so, symptoms indicate serious HST damage. How did the oil that came out look? How did the filter look?

Was the purchase price a "great bargin?"

Yes, correct oil and filter, from dealer. Old oil looked clean, strainer had metal particles on it. Great purchase price..?……no don’t think so.

I had just got it, moved it in medium and high was sluggish, however yesterday topped off oil, a little overful and reverse responded better.

Did your HST end up being bad? I've got the exact same issue with same hours as you've described above.

Structural Pull & cut the filters this will tell all you need to know. Hope there clean & it just a adjustment. Good luck.
