B2710 drive train noise

I have a B2710 that has what I think is a drive train noise. Driving on a paved road in 2WD or 4WD it sounds like a squeal or dry bearing noise. I though it was in the front axle, rebuilt the front axle with seals and bearings, noise still there.
Could it be hydraulic noise ? Would filter change and screen cleaning help?
I read somewhere on another model it could be driveshaft cover at trans end.
I would appreciate and ideas.
