B2650 throttle slippage

My B2650 started having problems maintaining rpms. the throttle lever keeps dropping several 100 rpm. Is this just an adjustment?

Look under the dash there are 2 nuts on the linkage, loosen the lock nut tighten the inside nut, then lock it down again.
