I’m trying to find a used 2782b front mount snowblower for my 2013 B2650HSDC (cab model). I’m a little confused on the front quick hitches. I found a Kubota chart from 2015 saying I needed a B2714b quick hitch. I found one online listing for a blower and B2714c hitch that states it came off a B2650 cab model. I also found a local listing with the blower and a b2714a quick hitch that was previously installed on a B3030 cab model. Are all these hitches different as far as length, width, hole spacing etc and fit different tractors or do the different letters just indicate some updates over the years but they all fit the same and would work interchangeably? Are the frames in front the same on the b3030 cab as the b2650 cab model? Thanks In advance to anyone who can provide some insight.

usually, don't quote me',.... letters after the part number indicate a newer 'improved' version that should be backwards compatible....
what I don't get is WHY does it matter if the tractor has a cab or not ? THAT I'd like to know....,just curious.

Cab models might have hydraulic controls for the chute, whereas non cab models might have come with a mechanical winding mechanism to change the chute direction. The most important part is that the hitch has the shaft to drive the snowblower. The hitch could have been sold with a plow and there was no need for the PTO addition to the hitch.
Each letter after the number generally means that there has been a change in a part or parts. It doesn't necessarily mean that it is an improvement over the previous versions. When buying a used snowblower, the condition is paramount. Check the secondary fan for any damage, because if the snowblower ingested a rock, the fan might be out of balance. Also, check to make sure that everything turns smoothly.

I’m not even sure it matters for the hitch, but I was told the frames are a little longer so the mid pto shaft is different than ROPS models.

The short shaft is a different length between the open and cab model. I know this because I had to order the right shaft for mine.

From my undestanding, your basically looking at three seperate kits to complete the install. The Blower, the quick hitch, and a Mid PTO Kit (of which I believe there are 3-4 options for different lengths of tractors).
I am currently selling a lightly used BX5455HD and a B2714c plus a mid pto kit (of which I dont know the part number of or for sure what model it fits) I bought it at a local auction and also tried to buy a tractor that I believed at least the quick hitch and blower would fit a B3030HSDCab, but didnt get it. I'm pretty sure it came off it but that is just a hunch. From what I gathered since, the B2714c fits up to 2017 B series tractors and the BX5455HD will go on either a BX or B series. The PTO kit then has to be determined to get the correct length.
