I found that going downhill quiets the whine but it seems most of the time I am going uphill. I just turn up the radio and will probably invest in a set of earphones. I read a few posts about changing the hydro fluid, it would be interesting hearing (excuse the pun) from guys that did their first fluid change and see how much difference it made.
Not so much, the pump as I understand is under the cab soooo your pretty much stuck,,, Though I will admit when I changed my hydro fluid to SUDT 2 it did quiet down a bunch
My B2650 came with SUDT 2 so guess I am out of luck. I am getting use to it, doesn't bother me but I am thinking about blue tooth headphones that work with my phone.
Today me and my son spent 4 hours gutting inside of cab. Removed all plates and floor mats and installed dynamat. Put dynamat on both sides of removable plates. Then installed 1/2" dynaliner on top of everything. Total cost for project was under $300. It did decrease hydro whine some and did lower decibals in cab some. Did not eliminate it though. But it did help. Overall would do it again.
Sorry, the most cost-effective solution is a good pair of muff-type ear protectors. I keep mine hanging off the loader joystick, put 'em on before I even start the tractor.
