I got my new to me B2620HSD yesterday. This AM, I demounted the backhoe so I can box scrape the driveway back into shape.

Owners manual has a cryptic photo of how to run hyd hose - appears to be around the inside of the turnbuckle. Tried to attach pic here

Any 2620hsd owners out there who can shed some light on this?

Thanks - Harrison

B2650 owner here, but that drawing is messed up, IMO. I don't see how one can loop a hydraulic hose safely around a 3-point anti-sway turnbuckle. My B2650 line, when the hoe is off, loops UP and just inside the rops post, and clips on the outside of the rops post to a dedicated tab for it.

I just got a backhoe for my B2620, but I can't really help you. None of my hoses are like that. Mine are all run higher up because I have a remote valve mounted to my ROPS.

Not real crazy about how my dealer has everything routed, but tractor is in snow blower mode right now. Come spring when I go to use the backhoe I'll see if I can make changes to my routing to neaten it up a bit.

Thanks guys. I ran it inside the turnbuckle somewhat as shown in owners manual but never felt good about it. Watched it like a hawk with box blade and bush hog in use and it did OK. It is suboptimal for sure but given the valve locations and hose lengths and hose routing - the choices are limited. I first ziptied it to the BH subframe but the lower 3pt arm would have hit hose at max lift so I had to change it. 90% of the time the BH will be off as it is something I rarely use so I do need to come up with a permanent solution.

do you have a little bracket attached to your ROPS? Maybe you can see it in this pic. If not, let me know and I'll get a batter shot of it.

EDIT: My mistake, I read your tractor model as B2650, not B2620. Sorry about that OP.

here's a better shot of the little bracket that attaches to the ROPS with a hose clamp.

Dirty deed - i like how your hose routes up and over the ROPS. I would have to do some plumbing to make that work I think. If you look at the pic of the manual from my original post, the top pic shows how the hyd hose routes under the rear case and through a metal holder. This is what mine does. It looks to me like it leaves the hose exposed to a strike from any object I am rolling over. Not sure what Kubota was thinking but I am gonna double encase my hose with another one and then look to replumb the sys ASAP to get my hose up and out of the way. Note: fyi... this is the supply hose not the return hose.

I put the backhoe back on the tractor this AM partly for practice on the hookup process and then partly to go pracrice using the BH to dredge out a oversilted driveway ditch. I think I am gonna really like this BH - may not need it often but it will be nice to have.

Trike, I posted my edit above....I misread your tractor model number as a B2650, not B2620. Sorry about that.

Took pics of what I got back from dealer after install. The way they got mine is I have to unplug rear remote and plug into backhoe. And he told me always make sure one or the other is plugged in before you start the tractor.

The two long lines that are zip tied together coming off the remote are for my snow blower chute rotation. 101_5402 (Large).JPG 101_5403 (Large).JPG 101_5407 (Large).JPG
