Hi everyone,
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
I purchased a property and bought the B2620 tractor with a few implements. It had only 190 hours on it, even though it was 3 or 4 years old. I didn't notice right away, but there's a leak in the right rear wheel seal.
I'm confused about the proper way to read the UDT/hydraulic fluid level on the little yellow plastic stick. I've taken the reading with the tractor running and not, but can't find in the manual which is the one to go by.
I'm worried because there's an audible gear whine when I'm driving it forward in both winter and summer, 4 or 2 wheel drive. It just doesn't sound right.
Thanks for any replies.

They do have some hydro whine. My new one does also.

My dipstick reads weird. If I use it and the next day pull the dip stick out there is nothing on it. Put it back in and take out and it is at the full mark.

dip stick should be read with 3pt down, bucket down and curled, tractor should be level

and I think someone should come up with a dye pack to color the fluid. It is very hard to see. I use my phone lite and magnifier to see it

pendoreille, I agree about the dye.

(ItBmine, My dipstick reads weird. If I use it and the next day pull the dip stick out there is nothing on it. Put it back in and take out and it is at the full mark.) Same with my B3200.

I think it may be because of the 90* bend at the bottom of the dipstick tube. Maybe it gets air locked?

And I also agree it is hard to see.
