Hi everyone,
Another load/lifting question...
On the specs for the B2601, it states the 3-point hitch can lift 1800 lbs at the lift points and 1400 lbs at 24" aft. But, the operators manual on p5 ("Implement Limitations") has the weight of the lower link limited to 660 lbs and in the list of implements (on p6), they don't have any "approved" that weigh over 500 lbs.
I need help understanding what these numbers mean. Why does it list capabilities of half what the specs indicate? What, exactly, is the lift-point? It is the end of the arms where the implement connects, or is it where the arms connect to the chassis of the tractor? Can I lift a 950lbs wood chipper on the 3-point? The instructions on p5 have me totally confused.
Thanks to you all in advance,
-Michael
