Hello everyone brand new member here. I just bought my first kubota last week. It is a used 2011 B26 with 1300 hours for $18,000. I noticed fluid leaking from rear axles before I bought it but figured the price was right even so. Took it to a local dealer and they quoted $2500 max to fix and think it may even have a cracked case as well as axle seals leaking. Anyone here ever tackle rear axle seals on the B26? Just wondering if the price sounds fair and also if it should be left to kubota tech or something I could tackle with intermediate mechanical ability. Also other items that should be replaced when disassembled for the repair? Any insight appreciated thank you.
