My dealer told me they don't make a mechanical thumb for the B26 tlb. Is this true? If so is it just that Kubota themselves don't offer it or aren't there any vendors that make one?
Thanks LIL Foot I did come across the one one the Messicks site. I guess my question should have been does anyone make one that isn't a weld on? I know the b26 has a mounting hole for the hydraulic thumb so I was wondering if they made one that bolts up like the one on the bx25
I'm not sure what the differences are on the measurements of the stick between a bx and a b26. If this wouldn't fit, you could probably request that they start building one that would fit your b26. Just judging by the comments on OTT, there are a lot of b26 out there.
Depending on your fabrication skills (or friends and neighbors) you could build your own. I started designing a clamp on style like this, then switched and just built a weld on thumb for my L48. I'm amazed thumbs don't come standard on all backhoes. They allow you to do so much more!
