I recently installed a Kubota third function kit and now when operating the grapple I have noticed that when the loader gets higher up, the joystick is forced to the right and the grapple is made to tilt forward. Anybody have any ideas what is going on? I thought maybe a shortage of hydraulic fluid, but that hasn't fixed it.

I would not suspect anything hydraulic.

My first thought is one of the hoses may be binding against the joystick.

Edit: scrub that - I just looked at the parts diagram for the loader valve and 3rd function. Looks like the loader has a mechanical self leveling feature (spill guard) that automagically tilts the bucket/grapple forward.

Yes, that is the spill guard feature. Described in owners manual. Mechanical linkage connected to control valve.
If the linkage gets bent or damaged may need repaired or adjusted.

You could disconnect the spill guard linkage when using the grapple, but I'd re-connect it for bucket or fork usage. If you disconnect it, make sure nothing binds or pinches through the entire range of motion.
