We own an older B2410 without a loader and while we NEED a larger tractor, the finances will not allow such at this time, so I have been looking for a NOS or take-off that will fit our tractor. I have also been looking to see if I can find a B24/27/2910 FS with a loader but no mower for a few thousand more than what I think we can sell ours for. Thus far, no joy with either of those options.

This brings me to my questions for the group.

I see B2410s with LA352 loaders, occasionally a LA301/2 and 27/2910s with LA401/2 loaders. This causes me much confusion as all of these are the same basic tractors.

I have seen the following loaders installed (actual listings with photos, so I KNOW it is possible) on the B24/27/2910 line: LA301/2, LA 351/2 and LA401/2.

Why the differences and what will actually fit our tractor?

The frame widths and mounting locations are essentially the same with all three tractor models as well as the hydraulics, from the very limited data I can find. Therefore, I believe that ANY of the above mentioned loaders will be "bolt-on" or very nearly so, for our tractor.

Any advice or first-hand knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

Hi John,

I'm going to go off my memory from when I bought my tractor, but the LA352 was designed for the B2410/B7610 size tractors. It has better specs than the LA302. I think the LA302 was on the older B2400 but they found they could go a little stronger so designed the LA352. I'm pretty sure my dealer said it was an upgrade to get the LA352 at the time but one way or the other that is the one I have. The LA402 has better specs yet. It was designed for the B2710/2910. According to my brochure, those two models along with the B7800 are physically larger than ours so I am not sure these will interchange. I think you would be safe with either the LA302/352 but would need to verify the LA402 would fit.
Besides a Kubota branded loader, I have seen aftermarket loaders from Woods for these tractors. They may have been a more universal fit amongst many brands with just the individual mounting hardware needed for the specific models. That might be worth researching as an option especially if Woods was able to currently supply that hardware.

Btw, I will send you a PM but I am considering upgrading mine so it could be available if you are still looking.

Thanks, John.

The stock option was a LA352, others might fit but that is the one they recommended.
It will be tough to find that exact loader with all the brackets and attachments.
I would second the Woods Loader, I have one, On my model it's actually a far better loader than the factor model.
Woods has a great reputation and they make it easy to get replacement parts.

I need a FEL for my b2410. I have a plow with hydraulic control now if you need to keep your controller.
