So my little B2410 started hemorrhaging oil the other day - I've traced the leak to the seal on the drive pulley on the front of the block on the crank shaft. From looking at the exploded parts view, this doesn't appear to be a major undertaking (at least not to the tune of pulling the shaft, etc.). Am I wrong in thinking this should be a somewhat simple repair procedure?
Looks like the bolt for the drive pulley, remove the drive pulley and sleeve collar to get to the o-ring behind it? I'm fairly mechanically inclined, but have no desire to get into a complete disassembly of the engine operation here. Will likely change my water pump while I'm at it because I think it's kind of sketchy, and possibly the main case gasket, depending on what it looks like after I clean the old oil and dirt off the front of the block.
