B2410 4 wheel drive HSD

Has anyone replaced the brake in their B2410?

How hard is it and what does this encompass as far as teardown to get to it?

PS... I have a very well equipped shop and can do pretty much any thing in it...

You'll have to remove the axle housings, from there you can disassemble and replace. Sure they're not just out of adjustment? Usually they only need replaced if someone left the parking brakes on for a long time

I drove it more times than I want to admit with the brake locked down... I am going to readjust and let it go for a while and be CAREFUL not run the tractor with the brake engaged.

In any case replacing the brake does not seem to be a big deal in a well equipped shop. Thanks! Butch
