About 150 hrs ago I had a new HST installed in my B2400. Ever since then my HST does not automatically neutral (goes back close to neutral but not completely, unit creeps). The pedal and all linkages have been gone through several times for free travel and any binding.
The dealer (who installed the new HST) kinda fixed it by disconnecting the damper cylinder this made it better but still creeps.
You neutral the tractor with you foot on the pedal, but it can be a safety issue while trying to inch into a hitch or delicate loader work.
I think it is in or on the hydro unit itself. My Allis-Chalmers garden tractors have a roller/cam follower on the input pintal shaft. Is there something like a cam follower/roller on input to the Kubota HST? And could this cam roller be stuck or missing?
I am getting ready to tear this tractor apart (taking the seat/fender deck off to see what is going on.
Does anyone have experience on this, looking for any advice. I hate to take the tractor apart to find that there is nothing mechanical there to fix.
Thanks.
Note: I bought this tractor new, it has only 750 hrs., the HST failed at 600 hrs.
