Hey guys, new to this forum. I am looking for a replacement tractor. My current tractor is made by LS. Worst tractor I've ever owned. I am looking at a B2400 with belly mower and front end loader. It has 2300 hrs but appears to be well taken care of. Is this to many hours? Thanks, William

It's still a lot of hours, so you should be able to use this in negotiating a good price.

2400 is a ton of hours on a little machine. I'd want maintenance records and want to know if the previous owner had the valves adjusted because at 2400 it's way past adjustment time.

Price is everything with that many on the meter. In theory it should last at least 6K or more hours but again, would have to be maintained spot on.

I have a B2410 with about 2600 hours on it. It has been worked consistently, and maintained regularly. Zero issues with it, other than its dynamo (generator) seized on me last year. Not an expensive fix, not a hard fix. It just plain wore out. Other than that, the tractor treats me well and makes mowing grass very enjoyable. Mine has the 54" deck which seems a good match for engine power if mowing heavier grass and wanting to make decent speed.
