What does the AR stand for which is located next the reverse symbol (R/AR) on my manual 2320? The R is obviously reverse, so what is the AR?

sorry I don't have your model tractor, just surfed the web to see what it might be.
hopefully someone here who has your same tractor will know.
kinda surprised the Owners Manual doesn't explain it.
Maybe try www.kubotabooks.com and get the WSM (WorkShop manual ) ???

Alternate Range, as it's a three speed reverse.
Whatever main range you are in the reverse follows that.

gee, no wonder the OP was confused, a/ar is SILLY !

If r/ar is 'good' , then it follows that

1 should be 1 /ar
2 should be 2 /ar
3 should be 3 / ar

to be consistent with designations.

Really, WHY wasn't it just call 'R' ??
