With my concern about JD small tractor driveshafts, I wonder about and have never seen posted on any forum just what Kubota has, particularly on the B2301/2601. Saw a video where an LX2601 was torn apart partly and showed a steel top enclosure where the driveshaft off the engine would be. JD's small tractor have just plastic.
Wondering what the B2301/2601 have atop the driveshaft.
Also, just what does the driveshaft have for to/fro and off center movement? Our old Benz 240D had like a piece of tire with metal reinforced holes in place of the front driveshaft Ujoint. Was fine at 26 years and 215k miles. Had to tighten the bolts once on it.
