My B2150 HST has a front end loader already fitted, but no hydraulics to rear of tractor. I want to run a log splitter any suggestions of simplest/ most inexpensive way to connect...

Most forum members will advise to not run up the hours on an expensive diesel machine running a splitter whose performance will be marginal because of low hydraulic flow compared to stand alone gas engine units with two stage pumps.

Your tractor at full rpm's pumps 4.75 gpm.

A typical pump for a gas engine wood splitter pumps 13 gpm's until it starts working hard and then 3 gpm.

This translates into fast cycles particularly when retracting the cylinder.

I'll second what Dave said!

But if you really want to do it, you'll need to loop off of the PB port of the fell valve and add a second open center valve to the loop.

Everybody I know with a tractor driver splitter has forgot about them and left them sitting in the weeds. Seems like a good idea but after the first use it's abandoned. I'd much rather have a stand alone splitter.
