Good info, thanks for the replys. Wasn't sure if that 15A Dynamo came in another output like 25-30A.
My B2150 has a Curtis Cab w/ wipper, radio, heater, beacon and 4 Hallogen aux. lights, plus the stock factory lights. The Dynamo can keep up with everything except the Hallogen lights, which I don't use anyway.
I need extra work lights for snow removal. Part is so I can see, but since I'm often in the road - - - so I can be seen by other vehicles.
Just something to consider is replacing all light bulbs with LED before attempting to convert to an alternator. A dynamo is limited in output, but they're very reliable.
Probably can switch the factory OEM tractor lights to LED, and the 4 halogens are work lights?
I started with 2 halogen work lights on my BX with an alternator (40A?). They were a huge amperage load. Could hear the engine work harder just by turning lights on. Light wasn't great either.
Went to 4 LED work lights with better lumens, and now don't notice a difference when the work lights are switched on.
Changed all the tractor headlights/taillights, etc to LED also. All were common automotive lights, just need to figure out what type. Was pretty easy to do, and inexpensive.
Didn’t find a better picture, but these are all very bright and all LED.
