I have a 2005 B21 and have experienced a loss in power with the front loader and the backhoe. I have to crank the rpm's way up just to get the front loader and backhoe to move. I took the pump off yesterday and it looks good. Filters and fluid looks good also.
Any ideas?

Hi Scott,

Sorry to hear about your trouble. I have not used a B21 but do they have any type of cut off or directional valve that could have been moved or changed on it? The way you described how it's acting sounds like it went from working to not working all at once. Is that correct or has it fell off gradually?

Hi. It seemed pretty sudden to me. It has a valve system for diverting fluid to the backhoe or the 3 point hitch, but nothing for the front loader alone. Dealer looked at the pump and didn't think it looked worn. I am going to put it back on and check the lines for blockage. Next, I will pull that diverter off and check it. I am feeling frustrated!!

If you think there is a problem with the hydraulics, and you are sure the filters are ok, use a flowrater to check pressure and gallons per minute output.

Is there any way the system got contaminated; Line replacement,Add fliud ect...? I only ask because it seems strange that it went from good to bad so quick and the filter and pump showing to be good.

I agree with KubotaTech, If you are sure about the filter it's time to check the flow.
