My B20's accelerator cable became sticky and started freezing last winter .... it turns out the cable housing is cracked, peeled and kinky. I've got the part number, but it's no longer made, and at 71" appears markedly longer than any Kubota cable in current use. If I cut-to-fit one from an available longer cable/housing (and craft a knob on the cut end), it looks like I can re-use the housing-end threaded adjusters and the cable-to-lever connectors,. My most available cable/housing for this project appears to be 1.5mm stainless steel bicycle brake cabling through teflon lined housing-- is that hefty enough for this purpose?

Messick's shows part # 32701-44740 for B20, available with 7-10 business day wait. Dunno if that's really the case, but maybe worth checking out with them or another dealer with a really good parts system before the cobbing begins.
