B1700 HST 4wd - leak near drive shaft

Hi, I have some drips coming the shaft that runs from the engine to the transmission. Is this a simple seal replacement? Looks like part 170 from the diagram.
From what I can tell it’s hst fluid.
Any tips or help is greatly appreciated. Is it possible to replace this seal without splitting the rig?

The seal is the easy part, the hard part is the split to replace it.
In other words, no you can not replace the seal without splitting it as the propeller shaft will not come out.
