Hi Guys,

I'm based in South Africa and I'm struggling to source parts for my B1610.

Does anyone know what the B1610 model was named in the States?

I have attached a page from the parts list to show the relevant part.

I am actually only looking for the shaft labelled "A" but it seems it forms part of the kit.

Part ref 190 : 6A320-8519-3

Kind regards,
Hilton

Hilton,
You can not just buy part A without Part B, they are a matched set, Ring and pinion gears.
If you were to only change part A, part B would either not mesh correctly and break or wear excessively.

Are you able to buy that set locally.

Some suggest that they are about the same as the B7410, and the front axle does look the same, but that's not to say they are the same.
That set of gears in the B7410 is a 10 gear to 23 gear combination.
I would have to have the 2 side by side to tell if other dimensions were the same.
That set runs 196.47 US$

Note: On some axle housings there is a cast in # like BXXXX # or just XXXX #, that might get you lucky and know a US cross # if you can find a good cast #.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

Would it be possible to send me a copy/image of that page in the B7410 parts manual? I would like to compare the parts and part numbers to see if I can find a match?

The tractor is at a mechanic now, I will try to go around to see the axle housing.

Kind regards,
