Hi all I have a compact b1400 in the UK. The rear wheels are loose on the axle after sitting on a trailer for 6 months, is this just the retaining pins that are the problem?

No the retaining pin is just a safety, there sound be a large bolt that tightens down the hub to the axle.
There are several different styles that kubota has used over the years.

If you can't find the way to tighten them, post a picture and we can help better.

Hi Birch
I also have a B1400, live in the UK and my rear wheels also getting very wobbly!

The problem with mine seems to be that I cannot tighten the bolt any further which clamps the hubs onto the shaft as the two clamps are already "hard" up against each other and there is no more "travel" available.
Having looked at various threads on this forum it looks like a good solution is to grind the edges of the clamps away in order to provide more "travel".

Before I give this a go I just wondered if/how you got yours sorted out?
