The splines have stripped out on the clutch shaft for my B-748B Snowcaster that I use with my B7100 tractor. My dealer cannot find the part number or any other information.

Can anyone help with information?

Traylor, here is an earlier post talking about the availability of the shafts:

As far as I know, they aren't available unless you can find some NOS or occasionally one is listed on ebay. Use the search feature, some people have adapted shafts to the front crank pulley using the 3 holes in the fan belt pulley behind the crankshaft splines (which is what I did).

Good Luck,

Yep unfortunately unless you can find a machinist to repair that one or make a new one you're in trouble. You can hunt around for them but they're rare. After looking into using the front PTO shaft for a blower the conclusion I came to was that it would be easier to use the rear PTO whichever way I went. Whether that meant routing a belt up front from the rear PTO, getting a under shaft kit, or using a rear mount blower.

What killed the old one? Was there a Lovejoy coupling in the power train? They help damp vibrations and misalignment.
