Auto-throttle cables loose on new LX4020

The auto throttle cables on my hst pedal are very loose (estimate 2cm slack). This is a brand new unit so I am doubtful that they were adjusted correctly. Does anyone have specs or advice about how they are supposed to be adjusted?

Thank you very much Whitetiger - I will have a look at this tonight. The issue I was having is all the slack was causing the cable to get bound up in the mechanism and cause the engine to operate at high RPM, so making it less sloppy will hopefully resolve that unintended high rpm issue.
