Where’s the bench and chillers for the barrels?
Funny thing about the bench's I bought.

They have "Pros and Cons".

Pro: You shoot from a comfortable position.

Con: The wind was blowing so bloody hard on day 2, that looking through the scope on a bench, was like watching an "Earthquake" movie. You couldn't even make a 200 yard "chip shot".

We ended up having to shoot from a prone position using the truck (with the rifle cases stacked up), as a "wind block", and even then it was tough.

We had a crazy amount of windage on the guns, to compensate for the wind.

It was the "gas guns" that really "stole the show" though. Those AR's with the massive scopes, light recoil, and 69 grain tipped match king bullets really let us "light up" those little bastards out to just over 700 yards.

Great fun 🍻 🍻 🍻

It was 95 and humid in central IL yesterday so I went for an 8 mile run. I grew up on the Mississippi gulf coast and have always loved to run in the heat. But I do NOT like to work outside in the heat, I have to be moving with some airflow to keep me happy.

I'm in SW Indiana and last night's low was 78.

I also like to run in heat. Family thinks I'm crazy because 5pm is my preferred running time. Hate early runs/races. Always have.

I'm 67 now so I have cut back. Last half marathon was 2022. Before that at least 1 or 2 halfs and multiple lesser distance races per yr. My heart rate has gotten too slow after 35 years of distance running. I have to stay below being in "good shape" or it drops to less than 40 bpm too often. Causes irregular heartbeat. Dr says either cut back on running or get a pacemaker.

A high of 98 with a heat index of 107 Tuesday, 95 with a heat index of 104 Wednesday, 68 with a heat index of WTF is wrong with mother nature today!
