My B has 470 hrs on it. I have noticed fluid dropping down onto my belly mower and it has got worse. It appears that both connections on each side of the tractor(where you would split it to do a clutch)are leaking . They are tight to the point you cannot move them with long Snap-On wrenches. Has anyone(Vic) seen issues with these couplers strssing out from vibration? The tractor only has 471hrs and has never been split apart. Are the metal lines the culprit? Any help would be appreciated.

As an update. I took the belly mower off and crawled under the tractor. It's not the fitting leaking. Just before the fitting the line has a bracket welded/soldered to the metal line. A bolt goes through the bracket to secure the line to the frame. Apparently the vibration from the tractor is causing that erea of the line to fatigue and crack thus causing my leak. These lines run from the tranny to a cooler in front of the radiator. I assume these are not really high pressure lines? Could possibly high-quality flexible hydraulic hose be a better replacement that going back with the same metal line? I'm sure Kubota wants a king's ransom for this line. Really frustrating on a tractor with less than 500hrs on it.

Wayne, I had a crack in one of my lines just as you described. Mine was right before the "banjo" fitting where it bolted to the hydraulic unit under the seat. I thought it was a leaking o-ring and replaced them. Still leaked. I then found the crack, took it to a better welder than me. He welded it back up and it has been on the tractor for 6 to 8 months now and no leaks. He only charged me a few bucks. Hope this helps.
