I am having problems with my steering box on my kubota b7200 gear driven. I took the box off and drained it and cleaned it. The bottom bearing is bad. I replaced the bearing and put it together and thought everything was good and turned the steering wheel and heard a kinda grinding sound. Took back apart and it destroyed the inner race of the bearing in the bo. What did I do wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated. I thought about buying a new box assembly off of ebay but the pic shows the housing where the throttle linkage hooks up is on the left side, the same side as the arm but mine is on the right. Anyone run into this problem?
