Any ideals? Tractor+pto water pump+float switch=kill engine

Have a kubota 4610? And a pto water pump 8" discharge and a small lake that needs drained but driving out to turn off every day and checking if empty can be a waste of time, was looking to install a float switch and some how use the float to kill power to tractor when close to getting empty to avoid burning the pump out, my thoughts where to install a power lead to a remote start button with the ignition keyed off and able to hot start the tractor with key off and wire the float into the electronic air kill switch? And ideals

Does your tractor have any manual fuel shut off lever? For instance on my (old) L185, to kill the tractor, you pull up on a lever that shuts the fuel off and kills the engine. On newer tractors there is a solenoid that does it when the key is turned off. I think they still have some manual way to shut the fuel off though. You might be able to put power to or remove power from that solenoid (whichever way it is done) to kill your tractor.

If I was using my tractor I think I would use some weight and pulley system working with the float to pull the kill lever when the water was at the lowest level I wanted. Possibly have the weight floating on a large piece of Styrofoam, small cable up and over a pulley system and connected to the kill lever. The cable length adjusted so that when the weight reaches a certain level the float could keep going down but the weight would hang from the cable, weight hanging on cable would tighten the cable up and pull the lever, kills tractor.

How about a normally open pressure switch or flow switch on the discharge side of the pump?

My "ideal" would be that if i was going to use my tractor as a stationary engine/water pump i would have a safety switch setup that shuts it off if it overheats or loses oil pressure. If you did that it would be easy to rig a float or pressure operated kill switch.
