TL;DR: Anyone have any experience with one? Snow removal (with a rear blade) and mowing.. preferably a Land Pride 72" finisher. This would also have a front end loader.

Additional reading: If everything goes as planned, I will be closing on a 5 acre farmhouse next month. Decent yard and long driveway leading to a pole barn so 2 big things here. Mowing and snow removal. I was originally interested in the B2650 or potentially the B3350, but my friend at the Kubota dealer said he wouldn't let me buy a B3350 and would happily send me to the competition. (Issues with diesel particulate filter I guess?)

He then down talked me and pointed to the L2501. Cheaper price since there's no mid mount PTO and a larger frame, rear end, front axle etc. My father has a L4330 so I'd also be able to use his implements when we do landscaping this Spring. My main concern is the power or lack there of.

My next consideration is stepping it up to a L3301. Thanks guys.

ive had my 2501 since last spring, have 251 hours on it with zero issues and no running out of power issues. havent plowed snow with it yet but maintain 6 miles of dirt roads and ditches, mowing spreading gravel and tons of tree cleanup with backhoe and grapple. ive owned 3 other larger Kubota's (4300DT,M105,MX5100) and find this little guy to be much more handy. I know the hydro will take a good bit of power away because of inherent inefficiency but should still do what you need to do in a decent amount of time.

Can't say enough good about my l2501hst...has done everything I've asked it to do. I am near Evansville if you would like to try mine out...I used the bucket to move snow last winter, and the pallet forks made firewood work a lot easier. I had a 28hp green tractor I traded for this, and it uses the 3pt impliments I had purchased for it with ease. Plus, no emissions stuff to deal with!
