What's up with that? I realize ads are necessary to support the forum, but why bad mouth a great American sheriff? Lots of false statements & innuendo in this ad. For example it states that Arpaio is anti-immigration.... absolutely false.... he is anti-ILLEGAL immigration. There is a difference, but I guess the left wing doesn't differentiate.

I am greatly disappointed in the forum.

Hi there - ads on the site are actually served automatically by Google based on each visitor's:

1) geographical location
2) previous Google search history
3) previous Google links you have clicked on, etc

In short - each visitor actually sees a different set of ads, all of which is entirely based on Google's individual profile for you. I might see an ad for pizza here in Canada whereas you see a political ad for state senator in the exact same place on the page.

Does this help a bit?

I understand the mechanism, I guess I just didn't expect to see this trash here.
I guess I should be upset with google.
And if google thinks my past search history & such would indicate that I would be swayed by ads like this, they must have morons researching their demographics.

I think they get paid for the amount of times they "show" the ad.
