another box blade ?

There's a 42" box blade for sale locally. My L1500 has a track width of 48", so the tires will stick out 3" proud of the BB on each side. Is that going cause issues? Seems tracks shouldn't be an issue like it is with tillage, since I'll be driving back over it anyway. I guess I can see being too close to the ditch in some applications. I've never run a BB before. Thoughts?

Typically yes, you'd want your attachment to run the same width as your tracks, or extend past them. Especially when using the BB to level with, you don't want to be left with a few inches of tire tracks on the outside.
