I can barely navigate this site due to the recent huge increase in advertisements popping all over the screen. If this continues I will delete my account contents and leave. I am not expecting any sympathy. This is nuts.

Pop up and ad blockers work very well.
The issue I've had lately is the site sometimes wants me to enable 3rd party cookies to log in. Other times it doesn't matter. I won't enable them so I just go on to something else. When I come back it might let me in.

It got bad enough several months ago it prompted me to help out OTT a little more and get a membership. Ad problem solved. Saw something a little more in OTT just like a previous forum i was a decent part of.
I'm a knifeaholic. I was part of a (at one point in time) very large knife forum. For almost a decade, interacting daily much like I do on here now.
The support went away. The owner fell ill. Because of lack of support and funds the site went away. QUICK. There one day, gone the next.
That's how I got here.

Ditto. I have a paid membership and adblock plus. I have never seen an ad on this site.
I use "Brave" as my browser, it has an ad blocker built in I guess ...

My online "forum", general info computer is a vintage Mac with long unsupported OS. This my "junk use" computer to reduce risking exposure with my other computers. When at news sites such as BBC, checking out YTube I get a bunch of popup or banner like ads. But none here. Do run an up to date real time malware security system. Have you checked your computer for malware? Notice any slower functions?

Duck Duck Go will eliminate the ad problem.

I’ve been a Lifetime Member for years.
Didn’t pay for it to avoid the advertising; OTT has been a great resource for me for many years.
Not only tractor stuff. I’ve gotten great help with many issues. Lots of smart folks here.
I also use an an ad blocker.
Good way to support the cause.
