Additional seat adjustment on B2650 open station

There is not enough rear seat adjustment to suit me. Is there a way to unbolt the seat-mount and move it back so that I can get the seat back further? Yup, I am not exactly Tiny Tim, and would appreciate some extra room. It is a little bit difficult to get my "ex-paratrooper" knees to bend back to the reverse position on the treadle.

You should be able to drill holes and mount the seat farther back. From what I can see on the parts manual, there are only a few inches before the back of the seat hits the sheet metal. Look between the seat back and the tractor and see if there is enough space to make a difference.

I would try some aluminum tubing or c-channel to put between the the seat and the mount if you are tall as apposed to being Tiny. I have done it in the past with a 2x4 but it never looked right.
