I'm placing an order for a new B2650 Cab, and will need a 3rd Function Valve for a front snow blade. I'm being told by a dealer that the WR Long valve is a better set up than the Kubota. They are also suggesting the WR Long snow plow verses the Kubota.

Any input would be greatly appreciated as I want to make the right decision since this is my second tractor purchase and plan on it lasting me a long time.

I spoke to people at W.R. Long and they seemed to believe the Kubota 3rd function valve was their design. I was told the Kubota design is a little more difficult to install because of the added metal lines. I was given the option of either and went with the Kubota set-up. How much are they asking for the set-up?

I have a L3200 and had the Kubota dealership install a third function valve on it for my hyd. grapple. It was a W.R. Long valve assembly. The tech said it was a easier to obtain than a Kubota valve.
I'm satisfied with the installation and the operation of the controls.
Wish you good luck.

I have the WR Long on my L3540, seems to work fine. No on/off switch like on the kubota one, not sure why thats needed anyway. Good luck.

Folks,
Thanks for the input. I decided to have the dealer install a Kubota valve to keep everything consistent with Kubota parts.

Congrats on your decision. Can I ask how much it is including installation? I just assumed the Kubota valve was more expensive from what I'd read, but didn't price it out with the dealer.

TKM, I was quoted $795 from one dealer and the others including the dealer that suggested the WR Long just included it in the total package price.

Seems like one dealer told me around $800 on the WR Long valve installed. The dealer I got it from gave me a price for valve, grapple and install.
