Can anyone tell me the difference between these two units? What does self-leveling third function do or how does it operate? Does it contain a secondary feature that allows it to bleed back some of the hydraulic pressure when it's in use? Or does it have an actual secondary passageway in the valve?

The standard and self-leveling loaders have different valves, so the 3rd function kits will be a different part number as they contain different components. The 3rd function in its self has nothing to do with the self-leveling operation of the loader. The difference is what it takes to connect to the existing loader control valve.
