I just had the WL Long 3rd function added to my new L2501 by the dealer. They like them better than the LP kit. Everything Attachments sells them for a discount when you buy a grapple or something that uses it. Lots of pics on the interwebs. I think a lot of it comes down to the detail of installation. If they get the lines in position where they can't rub and are tight to the loader it's nice. I have 2 hours on my tractors clock now and haven't looked to see where they tied in the electrical connection for the 3rd function.

My WR Long valve came with a good set of instructions. Prior to receiving the kit I could not find anything on locating the power beyond port for my tractor. However, the instructions were correct and the power beyond port was not the hard part. Routing the hydraulic hoses under the tractor was the hard part. Once I installed them I went back and wrapped and zip tied them with heater hose to prevent chaffing. If I had it to do over again I would try wrapping them before I routed them. I wired the valve into the ignition switch. So far so good.

Many dealers sell WR Long, Kubota and Land Pride 3rd function valves. Kubota and Land Pride each make kits, but do not make duplicate kits. You can buy one or the other, not both. WR Long is an aftermarket co. that make the kits for many models/brands.

I checked them all out and I ordered the Kubota because it has steel tubing going down to the front. Just preferred it over the hyd. hose. But that's for an L 4240, don't know about Kubota's M kit. But if a clean look and tubing is something that might be of interest, I'd check them out.
