I picked up an L2650DT not running with a woods BH750 and a FEL. Tach read only 390 hours, the backhoe was disconnected from the hitch but the mounting hardware was still attached. The clutch was frozen and someone cut the battery cables and took the battery and the front right tire was ripped off the rim and the rim was badly dented in. This was how I picked it up and the owner purchased it with the property it was on and had no information about it. After working out all its obvious issues I've come to point were it runs nicely but when I went to test the 3 point I found that the lift arms don't respond and I can freely raise and lower them by hand, their just flopping around. The power steering works fine and when I disconnected the FEL return line the pump squeals so I assume it also works fine (I took the loader and subframe off). I have the control valve all the way open and nothing looks amiss externally. It seems like the lift arm lever should be pinned to the ram from the parts diagram but the arms seem to be loose, so maybe broken lift arm lever? It definitely doesn't feel like I'm pushing any fluid when I pick the arms up by hand. It doesn't make any funny noises when running or attempting to operate the hitch either. Could the poppet be stuck in neutral and this machine doesn't have the ram pinned to the lever? Just would like to know what to look for before I tear into it so if any has had an experience like this with their machine, thoughts or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.
