Howdy - New member here.

I have a 2710 that is starting to hate slopes.....moves slower.

Is this a sign of the need for a new hydraulic pump, or is there an easier fix?

History - purchased used with 200 hours (basically unused) and the only two problems have been the steel fluid line from pump to rear blew [replaced].
And cut-off valve in fuel filter failed and sucked air[bypassed].

Is it an HST?
How many hours is on it now?
Has it had a full service done on it?
If it is, #1 thing to try is new fluid and filters.

Yes - HST

Fluids - filters, replaced according to the schedule. I have to check my current hours - thinking 600 now.

My old 7200/hst had a similar problem and the shop told me to remove the pump screen and carefully flame it to burn off cotton fibres from the gloves used during factory assembly. It didn't help.
