Hello everyone,

I am new to the group and I just purchased a new L3901 HST. My dealer called me the other day and said they needed to stop out and check the torque on some bolts on the front axle. I asked if this is something I could do myself, and they stated they needed to come out to perform the service.

Has anyone heard of this? I have searched for this issue on the forum, but haven't seen anything about it. My dealer hasn't come out yet to perform the service, I will update my post one the service has been performed.

Also, does anyone know where I could get a PDF copy of the WSM manual for is machine?

Havent heard of that. I would say that if it is on their dime, come on. If not, then you can tell me what to check and my torque wrench will do just fine. Makes me wonder if someone hasn't had trouble with assembly in other new tractors and a trip to your place may just be a CYA deal for them.

You won't find a PDF of a new manual (don't know why kubota just doesn't do that themselves, would make it way easier on us.
If you wan that you will need to buy the print version, scan it and make a PDF version.
I don't even think the WSM in print version is available yet, Ask your dealer for a P/N.

I bought the WSM in November of 2014. It covers the L3301, L3901 and L4701. Part number is 9Y111-10120. ;)

Yes it has to do with the front axle holder bolts and nuts. Let the dealer handle it. If the front axle falls out after they perform the campaign, it's their butt. If you choose to do it and you have a problem, Kubota won't help you a single bit and the dealer will turn their head the other way.
