2010 900 RTV

Just purchased a 2010 900. Checked the hydraulic oil in the rear tank and its not showing on the dip stick. The box works up and down properly. Just wondering if it should be topped up? Thanks

Yeah. Wouldn't hurt to change all the fluids since it's new to you.

When the box is up, there's an amount of fluid moving into the cylinder. I wonder if that is factored into the dipstick reading?

Looks like it's an issue with the pump leaking back into the trans case. The level in the case goes up the more you put in the hydraulic tank, it drains the tank into the case. As long as you leave the tank empty it no leaks. The box works fine as long as you are flat.
