2009 RTV1100 Transmission

Is it possible to install a transmission, rear diff, transaxle, and hydraulics from a newer RTV X1100CW, more or less swap out everything from the flywheel back on an older RTV 1100.

They "appear" to be the same.

The RTV1140 engine & transaxle probably could be put in an RTV1100 if you had the complete RTV1140 as a donor. There is no way to be sure, as the engine, trans-axle, and rear axle assembly are different part numbers.

I have not tried to swap them and haven't heard of anyone doing it. They are basically the same units, other than the frame length. The different part numbers are probably minor specs or differences.

Thanks for your responses. I did look up and notice they had different part numbers. I found a complete transaxle from a 1140 and I would get a 1 year parts and labor warranty, but it is several states away, so I can't take measurements and see what the differences are.
