2009 6040 electric question

Hi, I have a small electrical gremlin. The live wire to the radio is not working. I have checked the fuse box under the steering wheel. All are ok including the 5A for the radio. Is there another fuse somewhere I’m missing ?

Does the radio have its own inline fuse?

Hi thanks for the reply. No it doesn’t. I’ve removed the radio and I’m testing the harness wire behind the radio. The 12+ is dead. I’m sure I heard a fuse blow but all the ones in the main fuse box under the steering wheel are ok, which is why I think there is another hidden fuse box somewhere I can’t see....

I think there's another fuse block under the hood, along the right side top of the engine....going off of memory of course.

Here is the electrical drawing for the cab model.

In the top right corner is the feed "b" for the radio with its own 5 amp fuse.

The 5 amp fuse gets power from the key switch which in turn is being powered by a 30 amp slow blow fuse.
